Grandma Carmen ~ May 5th 1923 – June 17th 2008

I hesitated to write this post but decide to go ahead after all. Early yesterday morning my grandmother Carmen Delgado passed away. She was 85 years old and up until her recent illness was and had always been in the life of the party. She was in her words “fine and dandy, sweet as candy”. I have many fond memories of my grandma whom I used to kid with and call her Carmen whenever we say eachother. Rest peacefully now grandma and go have that margarita you’ve been waiting for…
