My Dad ~ Joe Bueno
After a year long battle with Pancreatic Cancer, my dad Joe Bueno passed away Friday afternoon. My dad was a private person so when he was diagnosed he asked that we kept his illness private. It was tough knowing that we had only a certain amount of time with my dad but we made the most of it and so did he. The team of medical professionals that were caring for him were top notch and we knew he was getting the best care. If you still have your parents in your life, hug them a little tighter next time you see them.

My dad was the go to guy for many individuals. He was full of wisdom and great advice and always had a way of making you feel like everything was going to be okay no matter how bad it seemed. My dad had a 40 year career with Bank of America and was a key contributor to many at the Bank. To this day I meet people that worked with him and/or for him and tell me what a great person he was to work for. I’m really going to miss my dad but I have comfort knowing that he is not in pain anymore and that I got to tell him i loved him before he passed. I love you JB! Don’t worry about us, you’ve given us enough strength and guidance to make it through.
