Image ~ Sunday Recap ~ East LA Classics
Today was another early morning. This time I headed to Downtown Los Angeles to shoot Sue’s 53 Bel Air. When I got to our meeting spot, I found that virtually everywhere we planned on shooting (including the 4th & 6th street bridges) were blocked for filming. Sons of Anarchy was filming all day today so we had to find another spot to shoot. Luckily I remembered a spot I’ve been wanting to use and the lighting there was idea. After we were done, we drove over the OG El Tepeyac on Evergreen for some food. The title of the post came to me after I shot the ’53 in front of El Tepeyac. Both the Bel Air and El Tepeyac are East LA Classics that never get old or go out of style. See the line in front of the restaurant? They are not waiting for a table in the restaurant, they are waiting for their turn to check out the car!
After the shoot and our meal at El Tepeyac, I met up with Stephanie & Julian while they were having breakfast together after visiting his school book fair. We are home now relaxing and gearing up for another week of work and school. Happy Sunday everyone!
