Suggested Reading ~ 38 Timez Magazine

Oryu from 38 Timez Magazine dropped by my house last week and brought me a copy of the latest issue of 38 Timez magazine he produces in Japan.  Oryu splits his time between Los Angeles and Japan and not only produces 38 Timez but also the Lost Angels paperback books that features the different cultures here in the states like custom cars, tattoos, skateboard, music and apparel.  Both the magazine and the paperback books are hard to come by but if you find them they are definitely worth holding on to. The layout, design and content is outstanding.

  1. I’ve seen 38 Timez and met Oryu. It is obviously a top notch magazine, and he is a nice and intelligent guy. Just, if only i could read Japanese… I have heard in Japan it is called “Sanpachi”. I look forward to seeing every issue i come across. Greenspan’s, here in South Gate, CA sells a annual compilation of the best of 38 Timez, for the years 2009, and 2010.

  2. ORYU IS A COOL GUY AND THESE BOOKS ARE BAD ASS.
