The Passing of a Legend ~ Walt Prey ~

The man that has left his art on countless vehicles over the years including the world famous Gypsy Rose has passed away. Walt Prey leaves behind his art on countless custom vehicles and also leaves his influence on many of the top custom painters and pinstripers. Walt did it all from full paint jobs to pinstriping over the years.

The world famous Gypsy Rose with Walt’s hand painted roses and scroll work.

Here is a photo of a young Walt standing next to Howard Gribble’s Impala that he worked on. Photos by Howard Gribble.

His legacy will live on with all of the rolling art he created. Condolences to his family from us here at JaeBueno.com.  Rest in Paint Walt.
