Event Coverage ~ 2012 Lowrider Magazine Las Vegas Super Show ~ Las Vegas
This past weekend thousands of Lowrider enthusiasts gathered in Sin City (Las Vegas) for the Super Bowl of Lowriding which is also known as the Las Vegas Super Show. We got into town Friday morning and went right to set up. We cruised around for a while a shot some photos with our iPhones before checking in our hotel and checking out for the night! Saturday we got to the Cashman Center late in the afternoon and took a few photos before heading back to the hotel for the night. Early Sunday morning we were at the show ready for a day filled with friends, Lowriders and more friends!
Saturday evening when the lights were shut off for a few minutes, we captured the much anticipated “Rotten Apple” 1961 Chevy Impala from New York’s Drastic Auto Club. The car lived up to the hype and was a crowd pleaser all weekend. It also went home with a first place trophy. Here it is waiting in the shadows for the show Sunday morning.
Spirit Runner from Imperials CC Arizona chapter showed up with a new interior. It was shot today for a feature in Lowrider Magazine. Congrats Imperials!
Uniques CC 69 Impala was a big winner at the show!
Royals CC Las Vegas busted out this hardtop at the show!
“Chump Change” built by Ronnie Payan Kustomz. It took home a first place trophy on its first outing!
Always love seeing the paint on this Caprice from Texas!
Culver Customs painted Impala from Kentucky!
Cruel Intentions from Imperials CC Los Angeles.
I really liked this Cadillac.
Joey Hernandez repping his sponsors SANCTIOND, SONY and his club Techniques CC Los Angeles. He went home with a first place as well!
Big Spike’s hardtop Impala representing Gator Customs and Majestics Car Club.
That’s it for this post. I have a lot more photos to put up from the show. I’ll have another post tomorrow.
